Faithful in large number bid final adieu to Fr J. N. Lobo at Valencia Church

Most Rev Dr. Aloysius Paul D Souza, Bishop of Mangalore presided over the Eucharistic celebration along with Most Rev Dr. Gerald Isac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi diocese and other concelebrants. Fr. Ronald Serrao, professor of St. Joseph Seminary Jeppu preached the Homily. Fr. Onil D Souza, Director of St. Anthony Charitable Institutions offered panegyric.

 

 

 

 

 

Fr. J. N Lobo (88 years) in his 61 years of Priestly ministry has served at Milagres Church Mangalore, Puttur, Manjeshwar, Mudaranagady Ferar, Barkur, Sasthan and Balkunje. He was retired at the age of 75 resided at Senior Priests Home Jeppu. He was the man of commitment, won the hearts of the faithful with his music and his special talent of giving medicine to the sick. He bore all his suffering with a Smile. People gathered in large number for his funeral mass testify that he won the hearts of his flock during his life.
